The Week According To My iPhone

02/27/2015 · In: life

ATMI-3

Work called my guy out of town for majority of the week, so it’s just been me.

The days were composed with steady rain, the desire for comfy jeans, verse memorization, and good ol’ work.

The hooded wonder up there? Sportin’ my Valentine’s Day gift: Columbia jacket built for rain and wind. It’s purple because I told J at the beginning of the year I wanted to add some color to my exterior layers.

That interesting glass thing? One of my website designs won a silver award at the local awards night! I was kind of shocked but found it super cool.  :)

One of my goals for 2015 was to commit more scripture to memory. Having tried this in the past, my track record is usually to put a couple short verses in a notebook and start memorizing. I last about two weeks and it falls  idle. After asking for wisdom, I decided to commit to memorizing a book of the Bible. Ephesians, it is. Full of doctrinal truth, life application, and descriptions about God. It’s been a little slow, I confess, but I’m enjoying it. I bought a small notebook, printed out sections of verses per week, and whatever passage I’m memorizing I try and do a little word-study. This helps me remember the verse a little better.

Sported this t-shirt, because I do love my husband. And because it’s a super comfy shirt. I’ve been full of gratitude and extra love for my man lately. Thankful for the gift of marriage. Thankful that I not only love him, but I like him. I like hanging out with him. He teaches me about guns, he buys me clothes (I was pleasantly shocked also, when he came home from his trip with two new items for me, that fit perfectly!), and he’s down for takeout when I don’t feel like cooking. Thanks, God.

Thanks Jenna! That’d be super cool if it was for my blog. I work for a web design firm, so the award was for a design I did for work. :)
