I’ve dubbed May as self-care month. May, the month of warmer days, turning another year older, bright flowers, and the beginning of summertime.
“The willingness to be and to have just what God wants us to be and to have, nothing more, nothing less, and nothing else, would set our hearts at rest, and we would discover the simpler life, the greater peace.” Elisabeth Elliot
May, a month of simpler, of rest, of being completely satisfied in God alone — to focus on what He wants me to be and have. We’re getting more settled into our new house, finding pieces that fit well. I’ll celebrate a close friend getting married, and enjoying standing beside her as she says ‘I do.’ We will enjoy and spend time spoiling our moms for all their good work in raising us kiddos. Late this month I turn 23, and birthdays are always the coolest.
MAY GOALS:
- Begin the capsule wardrobe process — learn more here.
Purchase a rug,tv stand, and cool plant to complete our living room.- Host dinner for friends at least once a week.
Have a fun & memorable 23rd birthday!
- Embrace a run-free month; spin classes, yoga, HIIT workouts, dance classes instead
- Exclude heavy sugar, a small May body-boost
It’s Cinco de Mayo, so this is belated, but… Happy May friends!
