Decorating Our New Home For Fall

10/15/2015 · In: life

We’ve only been married for a year or so, and only in our house for about 6 months. We are babies when it comes to house decor, especially when it comes to holidays. Thankfully, I keep the pressure to have everything like I daydream it at bay by wise advice: don’t feel pressured to have your entire house decorated your first few holidays together, accumulate as you go.

Hallelujah for smart women who pass down golden nuggets like that, because I would be wanting to shop at Hobby Lobby, HomeGoods, and Target every single week. That being said, I love this season, so I needed (okay, strongly wanted) some sweet Fall decorations to add warmth to our home.

Along with a seasonal candle, my home is becoming a place of Fall happiness. The plastic pumpkins on the mantle and the wreath are probably my favorites.

—- What’s your favorite Fall decoration?

—- Do you also decorate for Halloween? I’ve never thought to do that.

Lovely decorations! I have also been in my house for less than a year and I have to admit that last Christmas I wanted to go crazy with decorations, but like you had to keep it calm. I like that you kept your decorations simple and yet your house still looks great!
