Back again for another virtual coffee date! Learn more about it here.
If we were on a coffee date…
I would order a sweet tea. Surprising? I’ve had a crazy craving for it lately. J gave me a YETI cup for Christmas and sometimes I get a half sweet/half unsweet tea from Sonic and sip on it throughout the morning at work.
I would excitedly tell you we bought some great furniture over the weekend! A nice bookcase and corner ‘tower’ type case for the living room, and a vintage tea cart for the dining room. I underestimated how much I would enjoy decorating and brainstorming for a home. I confess it sometimes seems overwhelming, but it’s fun.
I would ask if you like to get out for an adventure over the weekend or stay in to relax? I’ve realized I like a little of both. I like a planned outing, an adventure, but also unhurried time to read, clean, draw, or nap.
I’d share with you a desire to get out and take more photos with my Canon camera. Working full time, especially in the winter, doesn’t leave a great deal of light to play with. It’s a bit of a bummer, but the excitement simply builds up for springtime. I also can’t wait to use the pancake lens I recently bought.
I would ask if you’re a fan of the Piko dress/shirt. Have you seen these yet? They’re trending. My sister has probably 7 of them. I recently acquired a black one and I’ve worn it a lot. I’d like to get a bright color.
I would ask if you’re a planner. Even in such a digital age, I still enjoy keeping my paper book planner. It’s fun for my creative mind to organize thoughts, use stickers and various colors. #nerdstatus
I would confess my obsession with chapstick. Especially in the wintertime! I probably have three in my purse right now, and usually find one in every jacket pocket. Too much, you think? J teases me about it.
Happy Monday, friends. Take all week to link up your own post! Can’t wait to read.

I added my post!! I’d never heard of the Piko dresses/shirts, but now I am LOVING that turtleneck long sleeve dress. oh my goodness. :)
I know, girl! I’m drinking the Piko koolaid, unashamed. :)
I am also obsessed with chapstick. I have one in beside the couch, next to my bed, in my car, and in my purse…literally they’re everywhere.

fun! :) I love these :) my hubby got a Yeti and he is always drinking something sweet, haha. I’ve been trying to take more photos too with my canon while I’m in the slow month of my photography business. Also, I’ve never heard of the Piko dress so I’m going to have to check that out!
Katie, my poor husband, he would continually be looking for the Yeti and it would be in my car or something. :)
Yes, the Piko line is booming! And they’re fun and cute.
Loveliness. Now I am aching for a coffee date. I’m wishing for more natural light too! The dark winter days make photography a challenge.
Thanks for sharing. I’d never heard of the Piko dress/shirt but I love it. I always enjoy reading coffee date posts as they give you a glimpse into people’s lives.
I am totally with you on stickers and colors, how does one do without them? ;) And yes please, lets go snap a thousand pictures of random yet interesting things on the street :p I am loving your coffee date series, they are so fun, adding my post real soon!! :)
