If We Were On A Coffee Date #05

02/01/2016 · In: life

If We Were On A Coffee Date... | heartnatured

Happy Monday, friends! Time for another coffee date, I hope you’ll join us with your own post this week. :)

If we were on a coffee date…

I’d make sure we were at Dunkin’ Donuts because I am seriously hooked on the iced coffee with caramel swirl.

I’d confess I downed two cups of cookies ‘n’ cream ice cream last night. Not at all ashamed, it was delicious. Ice cream is one of my favorite sweet treats, by far. Growing up I was a classic chocolate gal, then I started dating J and got hooked on mint chocolate chip, now I crave cookies ‘n’ cream. What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?

I’d ask you if you have any big travel plans for the spring? We’re trying to map out our 2016, strategizing our days off, etc.

I’d tell you that I am eager to meet with the neurologist this week about my neck. And how much I’m asking Jesus for help with a good attitude. I’m a little weary, guys.

I’d ask what you’re currently reading about in the Bible? I’ve been reading about Job, and to be honest, it’s been a little depressing. But in the end, and throughout, God is mighty, powerful, loving, and sovereign.

I’d ask what tv shows you keep up with? I finally am caught up with Downton Abbey, so I try and keep up each week. My favorite show/indulgence, however, is Once Upon A Time. J doesn’t like it because of the creative liberties it takes that he thinks is weird (Rumpel and Belle, for example). I actually like the creativity!

I’d ask for advice on curtain shopping. It’s a bit overwhelming! We’re looking for three rooms, and you can see almost every window from wherever you stand. Tricky. Do they have to match? Should we match two rooms? Does it truly matter? I’d like any helpful advice from you experts.

I’d tell you how much I admire professional painters. My coworkers and I painted our office this weekend, and man, it’s quite a task. We’re go-getters so it only took us a few hours, but I don’t think it’s my gift. Do you like to paint?

Let’s catch up!

Can you believe I’ve never tried Dunkin Donuts coffee?! I do, however, love their hot chocolate.

Oooh, we’re going on a road trip in April from Portland to Phoenix! I’m super stoked. Where are y’all planning on going?

I’m sorry your neck isn’t feeling tip-top. :( Living in constant pain causes lots of wear and tear on the nerves and attitude.

We keep up with Supergirl, How to Get Away With Murder, Scandal, Big Bang Theory, and I keep up with the Bachelor. Sometimes I make Justin watch it with me but he’s just so bored the whole time that I’d rather watch it by myself. Haha.

Allie, we’re deciding between a road trip around the Southeast, or Jamaica to stay with some friends, or Disney. Haha, so many places to go, so little time! ;)

My sister is hooked on HTGAWM and I have yet to watch even the pilot. Hahaha, my husband would never suffer through that; I’d probably be the same way.

And Lisa, I’ve never had their hot chocolate. Seems we need to trade places for a day! ;)
