Week 7/52

02/19/2016 · In: life

Week 7/52 | heartnatured

Story —-

I spoke at a women’s class this past week on how I study the Bible. I’ve never really done anything like that so I was a little nervous, but I also enjoyed it. God is good, and I trust Him to speak through me and make me who He wants me to be in those situations. I spoke about the precept upon precept method, that I wrote about a couple of weeks ago. My own version of Kay Arthur’s inductive way of studying.

It was fun, and thankfully I didn’t do too poor of a job, because a handful of women said they appreciated learning about my approach. Praise be to God, right? It was fun.

Quote —-

“To be filled with His Spirit is to be moment-by-moment surrendered to His moment-by-moment control in my life. The result is that I am increasingly His look-alike and His act-like and His live-like.” Anne Graham Lotz

Song —-

Shores by Bryan + Katie Torwalt

Recipe —-

I can hardly remember what I made for dinner this week, how bad is that? Guess it wasn’t THAT fabulous, haha.

I’m thankful for:

That if we pray restore to me the joy of my salvation (Psalm 51:12), He will do it. I began to confess and listen, and He has restored to me such a sweet joy and intimacy in my relationship with Him. It’s His doing, but it takes my choice of making space for Him, making Him a priority in my life.

Good job on the soaking. There is no way I could’ve done that. I can’t really remember what I had for dinner last week either, hah. Happy Friday!
