Four Months With Anna

12/26/2019 · In: family, kids

Four month post well over 4.5 months… #life. Classic shot to come soon but wanted to get it published.

Height + Weight: She is currently weighing in at 14 pounds and 25 inches long!

Clothes: We’ve branched out a little, but we’re living in zip-up sleepers.

Sleeping: Daytime naps range from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours but our nighttime sleeps are marvelously 9-11 hours long.

Eating: Milk, milk and more milk.

Health: We’re still giving her the reflux medicine and it is still helping. She’s a ‘happy spitter,’ as Doc says. We’re treating a little eczema. She’s healthy and growing and we are thankful.

Likes: Eating, being held by Mom and Dad, reaching for the fox and rabbit that hang down from her play mat and playing with Dad on the floor.

Dislikes: Being interrupted while eating to be burped and when a lot of people get in her face at one time.

Memorable Moments: One day we rolled her to her stomach, she landed on her elbows and held up her head, looking from side to side! Now she’ll smile as she lifts her eyes high above her while on her stomach.

Our first Thanksgiving was fun even though she had a slight fever. It was sweet for extended family to meet her for the first time.

It’s fun to see her now begin to smile and laugh at toys, not only when people smile at her.

Parent Stories: Her laugh is one of the sweetest sounds.

One of my favorite parts of the day is getting her from a nap. Her stretching and waking up is adorable. And John often talks about how he loves seeing her curiosity.

Prayers: For wisdom in how best to take care of her from one day to next; for grace in handling expectations; thanksgiving for how’s she growing well; asking His presence to fill our home.
