Weight: She is currently weighing in at 15 pounds.
Clothes: We’ve branched out a little in long sleeve onesies and leggings, but we’re still pretty much living in zip-up sleepers.
Sleeping: Three words: Cry. It. Out. It’s not fun. Six nights in and she’s only crying or talking for 15 minutes before falling asleep. Hallelujahhhhh.

Eating: Milk, milk and more milk.
Health: Growing and gaining, with the arm and leg rolls to prove it. She did have her first cold and stomach bug. John was a CHAMP to sleep in the recliner while holding her upright both times so she could get some rest.
Likes: Eating, being held by Mom, going for a walk in the stroller and chewing on my fingers.

Dislikes: Being interrupted while eating to be burped and when a lot of people get in her face at one time.
Memorable Moments: Our first Christmas will definitely be memorable because all 3 of us had the stomach flu. It was pretty terrible. But having a baby certainly keeps you from despairing or checking out completely because she MUST be taken care of. I’ve never been more thankful to not be alone, because John and I took turns resting and caring for her.
Anna did get to spend time with her cousin Leah from Colorado finally! Leah was born about 3 weeks before Anna, and thus far they are the closest cousins in age. It’ll be fun to watch them grow up, play and learn about each other.

As she sits on her elbows and stomach she is beginning to reach for toys, and most play times she is content to lay around and talk.
Parent Stories: Something odd is that she plays very differently when she doesn’t have clothes on versus when she is wearing pajamas. She’s more active and reaches for toys and squirms when she is just in a diaper. Very curious.

Prayers: For wisdom in how best to take care of her from one day to next; for rest when we’re sleeping and energy when we’re awake; thanksgiving for how’s she growing well; asking His presence to fill our home.
