Weight: 23 pounds

Sleeping: Still taking two naps a day, one is usually close to 2 hours and the other averages 1-1.5 hour(s). The room darkening shades have helped. She ins’t a snuggler, but she’s pretty content to be put down awake and eventually fall asleep or to chill when she wakes up. She hardly cries when she wakes up from a nap, but she does start talking to herself.
Eating: We’re still giving her about 24 ounces of formula, but she eats and tries a lot more table food. She still likes eggs, bread and raspberries. We gave her a little sautéed fish at the beach and she liked it. Green beans are the only vegetable she really likes, so I’m supplementing with some green pouch goodness, kale, spinach, pear combos and what not.
Clothes: We’re in 18 month pajamas, and 12-18 month shirts and shorts. She loves her hand-me-down pink Nike shorts from our friend AN.
Health: She’s more fluidly rolling from front to back to front and she loves to stand up holding our hands. Still treating her eczema and dry skin. And little girl is making some BIG diapers multiple times a day so her digestive tract is working well, haha.

Likes: We are allllll about standing up and taking a few steps. Right when we’re done feeding her a bottle, she flips over and squirms her way down to the floor so she can stand.
Dislikes: Being away from Mom and Dad.
Memorable Moments: Her first beach trip! I shared a few thoughts and photos. It was a good time and she really enjoyed the water.
She’s talking a lot more, and her voice has a lot more range. She has this deep laugh which is hilarious.
Quirks: She’s started twiddling her thumbs, when she is on her elbows or sitting on the couch. It’s pretty adorable.
Also, she has all these great toys and teethers, yet still will CHOMP down on her wrist, leaving little teeth marks! Drives me a little bonkers.

Parent Stories: She has the best smile; it brings us so much joy.
John often asks,”Where’s Mommy?” and she looks right at me! So that’s fun.
Prayers: For rest when we’re sleeping and energy when we’re awake; gratitude and joy for how’s she growing well; asking His presence to fill our home; grace to know God’s help in the small and large decisions; wisdom over what’s good for our family and good for those we encounter.
