Calling this a guide feels like I’m trying to be fancier than I am. A few years ago, John and I decided to designate money into our budget specifically for giving of a more personal variety. Sending $5 Dunkin Donuts bucks through a text to a friend cramming for finals, a batch of gifts to keep on hand for spontaneous ‘Thank You’s’ or when I forgot a friends’ birthday, a Beautycounter lotion or scrub or lipgloss (hey, I am a consultant, work with what you have, right?), taking care of lunch when a friend is celebrating or stressed, that sort of thing.
Below are a few of my favorite products in our laundry room cabinet or order for friends…
The Daily Grace Co – I stock up during their $5 sales!
Mercy House Global – They have fun soaps and scrubs, and a great mission.
Laurel Denise – These bracelets are perfect for unique, intentional gifts.
Hadley Lane – A friend’s shop. Cute earrings.
The Tote Project – A personal, useful gift.
Beautycounter – Have to include it. Pairing a lip conditioner with a scrub or lotion is a fun gift. (Ps – The holiday sets make this super fun and easy.)
Karly Rae Ceramics – The white speckled pottery. So lovely.
Lindsay Letters – I like keeping a few 5×7 prints around to give as gifts.
Sela Designs – More fun earrings.
Scripture Type – Anything from here.
The Shop Forward – A tailor-made gift for friends.
