“Does she have to grow up?” John looking at Anna being her adorable, happy self after dinner.
I don’t want to forget…
how she sprints away giggling when I put her down after a bath.
how she never fails to take off her shirt not long after she goes down to sleep (now she’s even attempting to put it back on).
how she loves to watch me draw shapes and animals and her name with crayons.
her wide and big and joyful grin.
how much she loves listening to Bugs and Slugs Vol. 4.
her mild obsession with cheese sticks.
how she loves wearing jackets with pockets.
how she wants to climb on everything she can grab and step on.
how she (cutely) clapped in front of John’s entire family at Thanksgiving lunch and got a laugh from everyone when we were done taking a photo.
how she loves to look at the moon and stars.
how she runs to find me when it is John who gets her and changes her morning diaper.
how she’s obsessed with sitting in the driver’s seat of any car and steering.

how she squints her eyes, tucks her chin and places her hands in ours when we say it’s time to pray, opening her eyes after .5 seconds to smile and look at our faces.
how she runs with a prancing, jumping, bouncy cadence.
the way she now adores all of her stuffed animals and loves to line them or sit with them while watching Owlegories.
how she loves to swing from the bar at the top of any slide.
how she’s more confident and comfortable around friends and family, giving hugs and kisses when we’re saying goodbye.
how she lights up when she sees her cousins.
