I keep saying to myself, or to God, that she no longer looks like a baby / toddler anymore. She’s gaining in her girl-kid features and it’s so fun and beautiful and sweet.
She’s loving puzzles right now… and play-doh… but most of all, me or John drawing shapes.
She still always wants cheese… or chocolate milk… or fig bars.
She really likes this album.
She loves putting on mismatched socks.
She can say and point out most letters.
This week we took one wall off her crib and she’s doing great with it.
She nods ‘Yes’ emphatically and decisively and it’s adorable.
She’s learned the word ‘Stay’ and uses it liberally when she wants us to stay in the rocker with her or she wants to stay outside.
The time out chair is working pretty productively, which I’m grateful for.
She’s getting great with her words and putting the ABC puzzle pieces in the right places.

It’s a joy and delight to be in this season with her. Praise God for the gift of parenthood and His presence to help and guide.
