I spent a recent 48 hours with a bunch of middle + high school students and fellow ministry leaders. It was a little different than past camp weekends due to my 26 week pregnant body, but it was fun and sweet and encouraging all the same.
Had many hours of conversation and ministry with a dear friend. Had a multiple-hour, unexpected conversation with a new friend.
Every time I’m with our students I’m convinced: this is my jam. It’s where I most want to serve. May it be so for a long time.

A few memorable words from our retreat pastor/speaker:
Dead things don’t do things.
The gospel breaks down every barrier that stands between us and God and each other.
Adversity and diversity makes you better.
Biblical Christians can and should make situations and people better.
You have a family in the Church.
As God is for us, we can be for each other.
