We have reached the ‘whatever you do I’m going to copy’ stage of toddlerhood. A most recent instance still makes me smile, days later. I took a bag of clothes to a local consignment store and we moseyed around as we waited. She found a shirt at her level that was soft. After she saw how I had a hanger hooked over my arm, she worked to put her newfound shirt on her arm in the same way. It took me a good couple of seconds to realize what she was doing. But when she accomplished it, she looked up so proud and content. It was really sweet.
