Quick To Hear and Slow To Speak — Jen Wilkin
After Roe, How Do We Stand for Life? – The Gospel Coalition
If the church wants to engage the current moment and stand for life, it must be a reflection of God’s love and truth for the sake of his glory. Our ultimate goal in pro-life work is not merely to save a physical life; rather, our ultimate goal should be to care for people in a way that leads them to know the One who can save their souls. In the process, physical lives will be saved as well.

The Thing About Light and Momentary – Tim Challies
The deepest sorrow on earth is light in comparison to the smallest pleasure of heaven. It is a feather against an anvil, a grain of sand against a mountain, a drop of water against the mighty Pacific. The longest sorrow on earth is momentary in comparison to the shortest joy in heaven. It is a second against a year, a step against a marathon, a single tick of a clock against an entire age. It’s faith that allows us to see this and faith that allows us to believe it.

The Unexpected Parenting Comfort of Ecclesiastes – Christianity Today
As Tim Kimmel has noted, our task is not to raise children who are safe, but to raise children who are strong. Children have sensitive “spiritual noses.” They can smell fear in us. PHYLICIA MASONHEIMER – Her Conlectio Email Newsletter
So what’s the job, as a Christian? Your job – based on Matthew 28:20, in Jesus’ own words – is to make disciples of the nations. That starts with the nation you’re in. And let’s narrow that down further: it starts with the state you’re in, the province you’re in, the city you’re in, and the street you’re on. Making disciples is as simple as living life alongside people as they experience profound joy and the deepest pain. And when that joy needs sharing or that loss threatens to crush them, Christ, in you, is there. Truth in grace is there.
