Health: 21 lbs, 28 inches!
Eating: Would eat raspberries and bread all day long.
Sleeping: Still sleeping 11-12 hours at night and napping twice a day for 1.5 hours at a time… though she’s had a few mornings in the last week where she didn’t nap at all in the morning. One morning at church she sat content in the car seat facing the wall, haha!
Likes: Climbing and crawling over every surface; chasing or being chased by Anna; the bathtub; playing on Anna’s bed; pushing any kind of rolling toy; cuddling stuffed animals; walking holding your fingers.

Dislikes: The too-cool water in the pool.
Memorable Moments/Quirks/Skills: Repetition is her game. She’s up on the bed then down, then up, then down again.
A kind lady in the grocery store said today, “She just radiates light and joy!”
Anna insists on riding in the front/top of the grocery cart, so for three trips Julia has been hanging out in the main section… and drawing many impressed compliments!
If you laugh, she laughs, and it’s raspy and adorable.
She loves to be upside down and be flipped over handstand style. Over and over and over. So funny.
Today, we’re riding around in the car and I say ‘Hey Birthday Girl!’ and she enthusiastically waves. Cute.

Prayers: That God would give me desire and endurance to choose wisely when it comes to habits and sleep and downtime; that the first steps we take of speech therapy for Anna would be fruitful; gratitude for the joy of having such a sweet, fun first year of Julia’s life!

“I don’t know exactly what a prayer is.
I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down
into the grass, how to kneel down in the grass,
how to be idle and blessed”
— Mary Oliver, from “The Summer Day”
And a fun family dinner. The girl lovvvvved icing.
