We had moments we laughed SO HARD… and it was amazing.
We played in the sand and water.
We comforted many a little girl who hit something as they chased each other around the living room.
We had family photos taken and we rode bikes.
We watched the Braves and snuck into the kitchen for late night snacks.
John ran almost every day and I woke up before 6:30 every day. I even made it out to the sand for a sunrise and it was glorious.
There’s something about retiring and waking in the same space with the same people for multiple days that’s sweet. Especially when those people are your family.
