We’re going out of town soon for a conference and I’m pumped. I’m also a packing nerd meaning I do it early so I’m not stressed (aka forgetful) last minute.
For this trip I want to travel as lightly as possible. (Something about in my day-to-day life I have to be prepared for any scenario with extra clothes and snacks and diapers so the simplicity sounds utterly delightful.)
This isn’t an abnormal way of packing for myself personally, but this is the first time I’ve shared any deets here. We’ll be gone from home a total of 4ish days and I’m using this backpack, sliding this one to use for the conference into the back pocket because it’s very thin, and this sling.
It helps that I’m going super minimal with the tech, using my iPad for taking notes and Scripture and books.

Two toiletry bags, Osprey and Vera Bradley.
Favorite items there include Izzy Zero Waste mascara, Beautycounter Dew Skin, Loop ear plugs, Alleyoop cleansing stick and this hair gel.
Clothes: 2 pairs of shoes, leggings, black jeans, 1 tank top, one pair of pjs, 5 tops (counting the shirt I wear traveling) and underwear. I probably should add a cozy sweater of some kind, just for the happy of it.

I really like this Matador sling because it packs down small when it isn’t being used. Handy. So is this Memobottle, slim and fits in almost every purse I have. Also, I have a small Totes umbrella in the side pocket of the backpack because rain is expected.
We’ll see how this travels! But I’m smiling about it.
