I am a graphic designer by profession, a writer by practice, a podcast host by joy and a stay-at-home-mom by love. (And sometimes I talk about clean skincare.)
I’ve been on the internet since AOL instant messenger and Myspace, and as God continued to form me into a creative + reflective person, I knew the internet would probably always be part of self-expression.
If you stick around here, you’ll learn Jesus Christ is important to me and growing more so all the time. You’ll also see how much I love relationships and reading. I’ll rarely turn down a chocolate chip cookie or iced coffee, I would rather be outside, and I’m a recovering earnaholic.
Here you’ll find posts about books, motherhood, life with God, and a whole lot of learning.
The world is increasingly becoming more taken with snippets of captions instead of long-form articles or books, but I shamelessly still enjoy reading blogs and maintaining my own since I started in 2009.
By sharing real-life stories and Biblical encouragement, I hope to draw us both to greater faith and deeper joy in God.
I don’t know exactly where you are today, but I’m glad you’re here! And hope you leave more refreshed than when you arrived. Then I hope you close out of your browser and go about your day, seeking and finding God in all your moments.
Nothing here is new except in the sense that it is a discovery which my own heart has made of spiritual realities most delightful and wonderful to me. Others before me have gone much farther into these holy mysteries than I have done, but if my fire is not large it is yet real, and there may be those who can light their candle at its flame.
