If you stick around here for any amount of time, you’ll learn I’m a highly relational human with an ever-growing love for the Lord.
I’ll rarely turn down a chocolate chip cookie, I could sit in a porch swing for hours, and I’m a wife and mom asking for wisdom, delighting in God and receiving grace all the time. (I also like a good run-on sentence, as you can see.)
I write so you know you aren’t alone; to share stories of life with God; as a small way to serve the Kingdom; to process and praise the current season; and to connect with you over a book, experience or creative idea.
My hope is to share real-life stories and Biblical encouragement to draw myself and you to deeper joy in God.
Let’s journey together!
These words from the preface of A.W. Tozer’s The Pursuit of God capture my heart well:
Nothing here is new except in the sense that it is a discovery which my own heart has made of spiritual realities most delightful and wonderful to me. Others before me have gone much farther into these holy mysteries than I have done, but if my fire is not large it is yet real, and there may be those who can light their candle at its flame.
